Purchasing

Full service purchasing of a project’s designer specified furniture, fixtures, and equipment for hospitality driven projects from AMK’s web-based sourcing system.  Purchasing of the FF&E is comprised of a detailed review of all specifications to ensure the items that are to be purchased are of contract quality and validity prior to bidding.  Specified items are sent to bid to appropriate vendors that will maintain quality and design intent at a fair price.

AMK’s vendor contacts within all areas of FF&E are vast, which provides many options to choose from to ensure that vendors chosen are the right fit for the project. This ensures that the Client will always receive best price and lead time for the items specified.

Project Management

FF&E management of a project from inception to completion.  This may consist of meetings with Owner, Designer and Contractors to coordinate the project’s action plan and schedule.  Schedules are plotted and arranged to work within the Client’s desired completion date.

To maintain schedule, AMK manages the specified FF&E’s procurement, shipping, warehousing, delivery, and installation to ensure the project is staying within allotted schedule.  Any adjustments to the schedule are coordinated with Client thru a constant flow of communication.

Project Consulting

Provide FF&E consulting based on Client’s needs.  Many times, this consists of process management between Client, Designers, and outside Purchaser for large scale projects.  This also may entail vendor recommendations and schedule management of vendors and FF&E installation crews.

Communicate and maintain the Client’s expectations regarding FF&E to all necessary parties involved, from Designer to Vendor and, the Contractors and Installers.  Providing constant ease to the project’s FF&E process or schedule.

Project Budgeting

Construct preliminary budgets based on the Client provided FF&E design specifications, drawings, and project plans.  The preliminary budget process can be a tool for the Client to understand the scale of the project regarding the FF&E portion, as well as the expected cost associated with the presented information.

Recommendations can be provided to reduce the budget based on AMK’s previous project experience.  The budgeting process is extended to the procurement phase and throughout the length of the project.
